Kingston Gallery Emerging Artist

Summer 2021- Fall 2022

This one-year program acts as a stepping-stone into the professional art world and enables Kingston to fulfill its commitment to present a diverse range of artwork. The emerging artist receives direct experience in operating a gallery, organizing professional exhibitions, and the opportunity to work with a group of talented professional artists. After one year, this commitment to the gallery culminates in a one-person exhibition in Kingston's Center Gallery.

Gallery 263

Gallery 263 is pleased to announce Touchy Feely. In this moment of social distance, our safest option is to stay away from others. It’s a necessary precaution, but many are experiencing the feelings of isolation and disconnection that this remoteness can cause. To remind us of the community we have, and will one day see again, Gallery 263 is showcasing the work of Massachusetts-based artists and students. Touchy Feely supports the belief that, even as we are sequestered, a thriving art community still stands strong.

We are excited to celebrate the 15th anniversary of our annual Small Favors exhibition. The show engages artists' creativity in new and exciting ways with the challenge of making pieces on a very small scale. For some their Small Favor is similar to what they normally make on a reduced scale. Others use it as an opportunity to explore new ideas or collaborate with a colleague. Though small in scale, the artworks created for this exhibition are huge in impact.
